Built 2 power distribution controllers from a schematic for fixture that tests PCBs:
• Large test fixture capable of testing 30+ electronic assemblies and PCBs.
• Evaluated and corrected mistakes on schematic.
• Used Test fixture with new power controller to troubleshoot PCBs.

• Reading Schematics.
• Ordering parts and sourcing replacements.
• Hand crimping.
• Working with Machine Shop.
• Basics functions of electrical components.
• Labeling and Documentation standards.
• Using DMM and Hand Drill
• Production prove out.

Components Mounted on Panel

Installed a DIN rail on the bottom panel and then mounted the internal components to the DIN rail.

Initial Wiring

Wired Internal components together. Used Ferrule crimper and pins. Attached Brady Labels to each wire and update wire run list while building.

Side Panel Components

Installed Hubbells, CPCs, fan, LED, On Button, and breaker on side panels. Side panels knockouts were machined by machine shop from Creo drawing.

Side Panel Components

Used Molex, Ferrule, and Lug crimpers for side panel components. Emphasized neat wiring, and color-coded wires according to signal.

Top View of Controller

Attached all side panels once wiring was finished. Tested the entire controller with DMM before installing.

Power Distribution Controller Installed in Test Fixture

Once completed, the controller was installed and plugged into the larger test fixture.
