About Me
Hello, I am Kieran Hamilton a third-year mechanical engineering student at Northeastern University. As a Type 1 Diabetic, I have always been fascinated by the devices and scientific advancements that keep me alive. As an engineer, I strive to understand these mechanisms and one day contribute to improve the lives of others.
I previously worked at Axcelis Technologies, a company that makes Ion Implanters used in the semiconductor manufacturing process, as a Test Development Engineer co-op. At Axcelis I was able to practice essential Mechanical and Electrical skills such as 3D modeling and printing, creating schematics, building test fixtures, and writing standard operating procedures.
I am a member of the club Water polo team at Northeastern, and I also enjoy 3D modeling and printing in my free time.
